The Prince George Spruce Kings would like to congratulate Assistant General Manager Craig Carter on accepting a new role as General Manager of the Burnaby Steelers of the BC Hockey Conference.
Carter spent the last six seasons with the Spruce Kings in his front office role, following time as a scout with the Minnesota Wild, and over 10 years as a BCHL scout for various teams.
General Manager Mike Hawes: “It was our honour to have Craig with us for the past six years. He’s a first-class individual with a tremendous hockey eye. A large part of any successes we had can be attributed to the work Craig did. I know he will do very well in this new opportunity.”
Craig Carter: “Thank you for an unforgettable six seasons. The memories, friendships, lessons, and experiences will stay with me forever. I’m extremely grateful to have been part of such a respected organization and community. A special thank you to Mike Hawes for your leadership, support, and belief in me through the journey. It has truly been an honour.”
