MER: At 12:03 of the opening frame, Trevor Isaksson got the puck off the draw and ripped it by goaltender Jordan Fairlie to give Merritt the lead. Isaksson’s powper-play goal and first of the pre-season was assisted by Hunter Brown.

PG: At 14:32 of the period Rowan Miller had a picture-perfect deflection in the slot off a Corey Cunningham shot, over the shoulder of Josh Dias to knot the game up at one. Miller’s second of the pre-season came on the power-play from Cunningham and Darwin Lakoduk.

3rd Period:

PG: 1:47 into the period, John Herrington took a shot inside the circle that went right under the arm of Dias to regain the two-goal PG lead. Herrington’s first was assisted by Andrew Seaman.
