FAIRLIE SHUTS THE DOOR
Spruce King netminder Jordan Fairlie was a big reason why the Spruce Kings had a great chance to steal the opening game of the series on the road. The Fort St. John product made 32 saves in the setback, including two notable stops on Josh Nadeau and Adam Eisele in the second period. Fairlie has now appeared in back-to-back playoff games and has been terrific in both of those contests. He will look to continue that trend into the second game of the series.
