Game Preview | Spruce Kings vs. Centennials | April 25th, 2021

Tonight, at the Chilliwack Coliseum, the Prince George Spruce Kings look to string their 4th consecutive win together as they take on the Merritt Centennials at 5 PM. The Spruce Kings are coming off a dominant victory against the Chilliwack Chiefs, winning 5-2. Christian Buono, Rowan Miller, John Herrington, and Kolton Cousins (2) all found the back of the net, while Aaron Trotter got his fourth victory, making 16 saves.

The pair of Mason Waite and Amran Bhabra showed out in last night’s victory. Waite finished with a helper and was also credited with first star honours. Bhabra wasn’t credited with any points last night, however, he did earn the Fortis BC Energy Player Of The Game.

Spruce Kings 17-year-old forward Kilian McGregor-Bennett was finally able to get on the scoresheet for the first time in his BCHL career. McGregor-Bennett was the one who made the nifty pass to Rowan Miller short-handed to give the Spruce Kings a two-goal  lead in that opening period last night against Chilliwack.
