This afternoon, at Western Financial Place in Cranbrook, the Prince George Spruce Kings take on the Cranbrook Bucks in the back half of a pre-season double header. The Spruce Kings dropped the opening contest last night 6-2 against the Bucks. Christian Buono and Mason Waite had the two Spruce Kings goals.

The 6’3 centre currently has 3 helpers already in his first two exhibition games heading into this afternoon’s contest.

The 2002 forward from Wexford, PA had a night to remember last night, tallying 3 goals along with 2 helpers to help the Bucks to their 3rd pre-season victory. The Penn State commit was also awarded first star honours. Dowiak now leads all Bucks skaters in points, with 13.
