Trotter Shines As Spruce Kings Edge Bucks 2-1

CRANBROOK BC – The Spruce Kings got some early goals from both Andrew Seaman and Corey Cunningham, and sensational goaltending from Aaron Trotter, leading the Spruce Kings to a 2-1 victory on the road against the Cranbrook Bucks.

 

1st Period:

 

PG: 57 seconds into the hockey game, Darwin Lakoduk ripped a wrist shot off the pads of goaltender Nathan Airey, and the puck came to Andrew Seaman who was able to put home his 4th of the pre-season to give the Spruce Kings an early 1-0 lead. Seaman’s marker comes from Lakoduk and Corey Cunningham

 

PG: Colton Cameron got the puck at the right point and fired a wrist shot that was perfectly tipped in front by Prince George product Corey Cunningham to give the Spruce Kings a 2-0 lead. Cameron was credited with the lone helper at 11:14 of the period.

CRA: After lots of pressure, the Bucks were finally able to solve Aaron Trotter as Noah Quinn was able to bury top corner over the glove of the Spruce King goaltender to make it 2-1. Quinn’s 4th of the pre-season came at 18:52.
