2nd PERIOD:

PG: Just over two minutes into the period, Luc Laylin did a tremendous job getting around a Buck defender and fired a wrist shot toward Nathan Airey, and Kolton Cousins hammered home the rebound on the blocker side of Airey to give the Spruce Kings the lead. Cousins’ first of the post-season was assisted by Laylin at 2:04.

PG: Just under two and a half minutes later on a delayed penalty, Dylan Schives showed great vision in the attacking zone and found Nick Rhéaume at the right circle and he hammered a one timer top shelf on Airey to double the Spruce King lead. Rhéaume’s first of the playoffs was assisted by Schives and Colton Cameron at 4:33.

CRA: Off a Cranbrook offensive zone faceoff win, Bucks leading scorer Tyson got the puck at the left circle and threw the puck to the goal and it snuck through the legs of Aaron Trotter and got the Bucks on the board. Dyck’s first in the playoffs was assisted by Jarrod Smith at 7:48.

3rd PERIOD:

PG: John Herrington did a terrific job maintaining offensive zone pressure and possession, and ended up finding Ben LeFranc, who spotted Josh Wright, and his wrist shot was tipped inside the left circle by Luc Laylin and went through the wickets of Nathan Airey to regain the two-goal lead. Laylin’s first in the post-season was assisted by Wright and LeFranc at 13:16.

PG: With the Bucks net empty, Kolton Cousins got the puck at centre ice and deposited it into the empty net to send the 1200 plus at the RMCA into a frenzy. Cousins’ second of the night and second of the playoffs was unassisted at 17:43.
