Interior Conference QF Game #3 – (4) Prince George Spruce Kings at. (5) Cranbrook Bucks

The Prince George Spruce Kings first-round series with the Cranbrook Bucks has now shifted to the East Kootenay’s after two victories at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena. The Spruce Kings will now attempt to snag home ice advantage back in their favour when they take the ice on the road for the first time in the post-season. Tonight’s puck drop goest at 6:00 PM PDT from Western Financial Place in Cranbrook.

 TWO HEADED MONSTERS

 Three of the four goals in the Game 2 victory was courtesy of forwards Kolton Cousins and Luc Laylin, who are both now tied for the lead in playoff scoring with three points. Both players have collected points in both games so far in the series and dating back to the regular season, Laylin had four points in his last four games and Cousins has six points in his last four.

RHEAUME KEEPS DISHIN

 Nick Rheaume now has a pair of assists in the series so far and added his first of the playoffs in Game number two. Tonight, he looks to accomplish more of the same as the series shifts to Cranbrook. After leading the Spruce Kings with 29 goals and 30 assists in the regular season, the Spruce Kings will continue to look to Rhéaume to lead the charge offensively.

SHIFTING TO CRANBROOK

The Bucks and the city of Cranbrook will get to see playoff hockey at Western Financial Place for the first time since April 4th, 2015 when the Kootenay Ice of the WHL took on the Calgary Hitmen in Game 6 of the WHL Playoffs. It’s sure to be an exciting atmosphere at Western Financial Place for Game 3 of the Interior Conference Quarter-Final.

HE CONTINUES TO PRODUCE

Bucks leading scorer Tyson Dyck was the lone goal scorer for the Bucks in Game 2 of the first round series.  Dating back to the regular season , Dyck has now collected  12 points in his last eight contests.
