CHILLIWACK, BC – Tonight, at the Chilliwack Coliseum, the Prince George Spruce Kings look to bounce back after a heartbreaking defeat against the Chilliwack Chiefs 3-2 in a shootout. Zach Gabruch and John Herrington had the Spruce Kings goals, while Aaron Trotter made 27 saves earning first star honours.

Spruce Kings forward Christian Buono has been finding the scoresheet close to a nightly basis. Buono has 11 points in 9 games. Buono also sits with 3 goals and 3 assists on the Spruce Kings power-play, good for the top 10 in the BC Hockey League.
IN BETWEEN THE PIPES
Prince George has been getting some great performances in between the pipes. Aaron Trotter sits with a 1.58 GAA and a .934 save percentage which ranks 3rd out of all BCHL goaltenders. Jordan Fairlie isn’t too far behind him. The Fort St. John product holds a 2.02 GAA and a .926 save percentage, good for 5th out of all BCHL netmidners. Kobe Grant is also coming off his first career BCHL shutout a few nights ago against the Merritt Centennials.
