The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleased to announce the commitment of 2006 born defenseman Fraser Leonard for the 2025-2026 season.
Leonard is 6’2, 195 pounds from Cochrane, Alberta who finished last season with the Prince George Cougars of the WHL. Leonard put up 3 assists in 36 games with the Cougars.
Over 95 WHL games, he scored four times and added eight assists for 12 points between Calgary, Saskatoon, and PG.
Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes: “Fraser is a great addition to our back end. He’s a veteran player with good size and has a great skill set. He will be looked upon to contribute in all areas. We’re excited to add him.”
Fraser Leonard: “I’m really looking forward to getting to Prince George and joining the Spruce Kings, and meeting new management and teammates. I think it will be an awesome year with a great team and a few familiar faces I know. I’m looking forward to meeting all the Spruce Kings fans.”
