Spruce Kings Add Mendelson For 2022-23 Season

PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings are excited to announce the commitment of F Adam Mendelson (03) for the 2022-23 season.

Mendelson, from Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC is currently a member of Westminster Prep in the United States High School Prep League (USHS). Prior to joining Westminster, Mendelson played for the Buffalo Regals U18 program, where he tallied seven points in 17 games played.

“I am super excited and thrilled to join the Spruce Kings next year. I have heard such great things about the organization and speaking with the whole management made me know this is the right fit for me. What stood out for me was all the conversations that I had with the management to make sure I was the right fit. I could tell the management really cares about their players/recruits. Looking back on the Spruce Kings past, they have always had a successful past which is another thing that stood out. My playing style is a fast and hardworking two-way forward.” – Mendelson on his signing with the Spruce Kings

Spruce Kings GM Mike Hawes says that adding a piece like Adam will really help the Spruce Kings up front next season.

“We’re excited to add Adam to our team. He is a good skater with skill and high compete and is responsible in all areas of the ice. He will be a great addition to next year’s team.” – Hawes on Mendelson

The Spruce Kings are excited to welcome Adam and his family to the organization and to the city of Prince George!

The Spruce Kings are back in action on Friday night in Cranbrook to take on the Bucks at 6:00 PM PST. You can catch all of the action on 99.3 Rewind Radio or on BCHL TV.
