The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired defenseman Isaac Holt (’05) from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for future considerations.
Holt is a 6’5, 222-pound left shot defenseman who is in his first BCHL season. Prior to this season with the Vipers, Holt played 96 games for the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL, recording 4 goals and 14 assists.
Isaac is from Pembroke, Ontario and played 14 games for his hometown Lumber Kings of the CCHL in 2021-2022. He is committed to Robert Morris University to play NCAA Division I hockey following his junior career.
“Isaac is a veteran defenseman with good size and good hockey instincts,” said Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes, “He’s also a great kid who will be a tremendous addition to the back end.”
