GAME PREVIEW: Prince George Spruce Kings at. Trail Smoke Eaters (Game #32)

Tonight, at the Trail Memorial Centre, the Prince George Spruce Kings do battle with the Trail Smoke Eaters in the second game of the three-game set at 7:00 PM. The Spruce Kings are coming off a 5-4 shootout defeat against the Smoke Eaters. Luc Laylin, Rowan Miller, and Nick Rhéaume (2), all found the back of the net for Prince George, while Jordan Fairlie made 37 saves in the setback.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT

 It was another terrific effort from Spruce Kings forward and U-Mass Lowell commit Nick Rhéaume. The 19-year-old from Sherbrooke had three points last night, including two goals and an assist. Rhéaume now has six points in his last two games and has amassed 34 points in 30 games thus far in the 2021-22 season.

A BIG NIGHT

 It was big night offensively for a couple of Smoke Eaters, including forward and Merrimack commit Brady Hunter. The Enfield, NS product netted his first career BCHL hat-trick last night, including two goals in the third period. Hunter now sits with 36 points in 27 games played this season, which leads all Smoke Eaters skaters.
