Makow named 23rd Spruce Kings Captain

The Prince George Spruce Kings are proud to announce that local forward Linden Makow (04) has been named the 23rd captain since joining the BCHL in 1996.

“I am incredibly honoured and grateful to have been named captain of the Prince George Spruce Kings,” said Makow. “It’s a true privilege to lead such a great group of guys and represent this amazing organization. I want to thank the coaching staff, management, and my teammates for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Without their support and guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am lucky to have such a great group of guys with me who will make my job as captain easier every day. Together, we will continue to work hard, push each other, and strive for success on and off the ice. Go Kings!”

“We are proud to officially add the captaincy to Linden Makow’s jersey. We look forward to his continued leadership on the ice, in the locker room and in our community.” stated Head Coach Alex Evin.

“Linden has been with our program for five seasons. He’s a tremendous young man who understands the team expectations.” added General Manager Mike Hawes. “I know he will embrace the opportunity to be our Captain.”
