65 games was worth the wait. Alumni Brandon Manning scored his first NHL goal March 21st against the New York Islanders. Playing 58 games for the Spruce Kings in 2007-2008, Manning had 7 goals and 19 assists for 26 points, later adding three assists in four playoff games. The Prince George native then went on to play three full seasons with the Chilliwack Bruins of the WHL.
