Interior Conference QF Game #6 – (4) Prince George Spruce Kings @ Cranbrook Bucks (5)

Tonight, in Cranbrook, the Prince George Spruce Kings can punch their ticket to the second round of the Shaw BCHL Playoffs with one more victory. Two nights ago, in front of an electric RMCA crowd, the Spruce Kings defeated the Bucks by a 3-2 score to take a 3-2 series lead. Two late third period goals from Nick Rheaume and Simon Labelle proved to be the difference and now has the Bucks on the brink of elimination. Game 6 goes tonight at Western Financial Place at 6:00 PM PDT.

The duo of Nick Rheaume and Simon Labelle were the catalysts offensively for the Spruce Kings to kickstart the late third period comeback in Game 5 at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena. Rheaume was able to tie the game on the power-play, and then Labelle whacked home a rebound in tight with under 90 seconds left in the third to give the Spruce Kings the lead, and ultimately a victory.
