CHILLIWACK, BC – Tonight, at the Chilliwack Coliseum in Chilliwack, the Prince George Spruce Kings look for their third victory in this 2021 Pod season when they do battle with the Merritt Centennials at 5 PM. The Spruce Kings were on the wrong end of a 1-0 decision to the Chilliwack Chiefs. Goaltender Jordan Fairlie made 20 saves in the setback and was credited with 2nd star honours.

Forward Nick Rheaume was a forced to be reckoned with last night for the Prince George Spruce Kings. The 2002 born forward from Sherbrooke, QC led all Spruce Kings in hits and was in the top three for the team in shots on goal.

 

THE PG KID

Forward, and four-year veteran Corey Cunningham currently sits with three assists in his first four games in the Pod. The Prince George product, and Fred Page Cup Champion is still looking for goal number one in the pod season.

20 year old goaltender Josh Dias dazzled in the Centennials first win in the Pod. Dias took home 1st star honours in a 4-3 victory over the Chilliwack Chiefs.
