Chong Hyun Lee Commits

The Prince George Spruce Kings are excited to announce the commitment of 1996 born forward

Chong Hyun Lee to the team for the 2016/2017 season.

Chong Hyun Lee is currently an affiliate player with the Spruce Kings from the Port Moody Panthers of The Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL). He has 3 points in 4 games played with the Spruce Kings this season and will look to add to those totals this week as he returns to Prince George to play against Chilliwack this Thursday Jan 28th, Merritt on Saturday Jan 30th  and Vernon next Wednesday Feb 3rd.

Chong Hyun recently competed for Korea in division 2A of the World Junior Hockey Championships and is also a member of the Senior Men’s Korean National Hockey Team that will compete in the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. In 2013, Chong Hyun was drafted 64th overall by Admiral Vladivostok of The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

“Chong Hyun is a great young man and a tremendously skilled player. The addition of Chong Hyun to our full time roster for next season adds some size, speed and skill to our forward group. We’re excited to add such a dynamic player to our team” said Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes.
