PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings scored five times on the man advantage, along with a hat trick effort from Nick Rhéaume and two goals from Austin Fraser, which propelled PG to a 7-1 victory over the Penticton Vees. Prince George has now won five games in a row and improve their record to 6-1-0-0.

1st PERIOD:

PG: 2:38 into the opening frame, a Kolton Cousins shot from the left circle was initially  stopped by Kaeden Lane, but the rebound came to Austin Fraser and he fired it in the open cage on the glove side to give the Spruce Kings an early lead. Fraser’s second of the year came at 2:38.

PEN: On a Vees power-play, the Vees captain, and former Spruce King Fin Williams wristed home his third of the season by Aaron Trotter to tie the game at one. The Williams tally came at 17:09 of the opening period.

PG: On another Prince George Spruce King power-play, Dylan Schives spotted John Herrington and Herrington absolutely wired a one timer from the right circle by the head of Lane, top corner to regain the Spruce Kings lead.
