PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired forward Christian Buono (’00) from the Merritt Centennials in exchange for future considerations.
“Christian is a veteran BCHL player who will provide leadership and will be relied on as a big offensive piece of our team,” says GM Mike Hawes.
Buono, 19 , finished the 2019-20 campaign with 11 goals and 27 assists in 58 games played. Buono has 75 career points in the BCHL and has also played 128 BCHL games. The 5’11 forward from Burnaby is entering his final year of junior hockey.
“It is exciting when you can add a player like Christian to the group,” added Hawes.
The Spruce Kings would like to welcome Christian and his family to the organization and to the BC Northern Capital.
