Seeking Corporate Sales Executive

Job Posting: Corporate Sales Executive – Prince George Spruce Kings

Are you a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional with a passion for sports? The Prince George Spruce Kings, a proud member of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), are seeking a dedicated Corporate Sales Executive to drive our corporate partnership revenue and build strong relationships within the local business community.

Key Responsibilities

The Corporate Sales Executive will be responsible for the full life cycle of corporate partnerships, from creation to fulfillment and retention. Key duties include:

  • Partnership Strategy & Creation:
    • Develop and design creative and compelling Partnership Packages that offer excellent value and meet the marketing objectives of potential sponsors.
    • Understand and manage the complete Inventory Available for corporate partnerships (e.g., in-arena signage, digital assets, promotional nights, community programs).
    • Identify and create New Inventory opportunities when market demand or team initiatives require it.
  • Sales & Revenue Generation:
    • Proactively sell Partnership Packages to New Partners by researching, prospecting, and presenting customized proposals to businesses.
    • Manage the full sales pipeline from initial contact through negotiation and contract signing.
  • Relationship Management & Retention:
    • Renew existing Partners Packages by maintaining exceptional relationships, conducting post-season reviews, and upselling opportunities.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring a positive and ongoing partnership experience.
  • Fulfillment & Administration:
    • Fulfill all partnership contract elements accurately and on time, coordinating with other staff and contractors as needed (e.g., signage production, digital content scheduling).
    • Monitor accounts receivable and promptly Request payment when overdue to ensure strong cash flow.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record in outside sales or corporate sponsorship sales, preferably within the Prince George Community.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required for contract fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
  • Must be comfortable with evening and weekend work, as required by the hockey schedule and corporate events.
  • Experience in Graphics, Social Media, or Video Editing are considered Assets.

Compensation

The compensation package for this role includes:

  • Base Salary of $40,000
  • Commission structure to be negotiated based on experience and overall business target goals.
