Max Coyle Commits to UAH

The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleased to announce that defenseman Max Coyle (98) has committed to the University of Alabama-Huntsville for the 2019/2020 season.

Coyle, in his first season with the Spruce Kings, has 2 goals and 9 assists in 37 games this season. The 4 year junior veteran was added this off-season after winning the GOJHL championship with the Listowel Cyclones.

General Manager Mike Hawes: “We are very excited for Max. He has developed his game to where he is one of our most dependable players. He is a great teammate and his leadership abilities are tremendous. He is very deserving of this commitment.”

Max and the Spruce Kings take on the Merritt Centennials tonight at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena. The team plays in Cowichan tomorrow and Victoria Sunday to round out the weekend.
