Lahti to WHL, Ready to Northern Health

The Prince George Spruce Kings would like to congratulate Athletic Therapist Karina Lahti for accepting the Athletic Trainer position with the Wenatchee Wild of the WHL and also congratulate Director of Communications and Broadcasting Ethan Ready for accepting a Communications position with Northern Health.

Lahti joined the Spruce Kings for the 2022-2023 season and earned her Certified Athletic Therapist designation through the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association.

General Manager Mike Hawes: “We’re very happy and excited for Karina. This is a great opportunity for her in an excellent organization with tremendous people. Karina was only with us for one season but the job she did in that time was outstanding. Karina is a great person and has a bright future ahead of her in her field. As an organization, we are thrilled when one of our players moves up the hockey ladder and we are equally thrilled when we can help a staff member with their professional development as they move up as well.”

Ready also joined the Spruce Kings for the 2022-2023 season, and made an impact throughout the year on the Business side.

Business Operations Manager Kyle Anderson: “We are very proud of what Ethan accomplished in his time with the Spruce Kings. He brought professionalism to our communications, and was able to increase our social media interactions, redesign our graphic templates, and worked strongly with our Business and Show Home teams daily. The Spruce Kings wish Ethan all the success with Northern Health, and know that he won’t be a stranger around the arena.”
