Cooper blanks Langley as Spruce Kings sweep season-ending road trip

It might not have been the most enjoyable game to play in, but the Prince George went a perfect 3-0 on the road to conclude the 2017-18 BCHL season.

Bradley Cooper ended the campaign on a high note with back-to-back shutouts including a 1-0 decision on Sunday against the Langley Rivermen.

The only goal of the game came halfway through the opening frame courtesy of Chong Min Lee who capitalized on a great individual effort against Langley netiminder Braedon Fleming.

Both the second and third periods were very defensive with little to no scoring chances with only five combined power-plays being issued.

Prince George improves to 33-17-4-4 to conclude the regular season.

The Spruce Kings now gate ready for the 2018 Fred Page Cup Playoffs beginning Friday against the Chilliwack Chiefs at 7 PM from the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
