This past weekend in the NCAA for Spruce Kings alumni was highlighted by forward Ethan De Jong who finished the weekend with 3 goals and 1 assist, helping Quinnipiac to a pair of victories against St. Lawrence University.
To add on his successes this weekend, De Jong was also named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Player of the Week (ECAC).
Some other notable performances from Spruce Kings alumni, was Evan DeBrouwer who notched a victory and 30 saves in a 2-1 overtime victory. Lake Superior State forward Dustin Manz also added to his goal total scoring once and Bowling Green University defenceman Max Coyle added an assist to his point totals, over the weekend.
