The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleased to announce that defenseman Layton Ahac (01) has been named to Team West for the 2019 Canadian Junior Hockey League Prospects Game in Okotoks, Alberta January 22nd.
This honour comes just two days after a bronze medal at the World Junior A Challenge for Team Canada West, where Ahac picked up 2 assists in the bronze medal game. Ahac is committed to Ohio State University.
Head Coach Adam Maglio: “We are proud of Layton on being named to the CJHL Top Prospects Game. This is another well deserved accolade for Layton. He had a great World Junior A Challenge and we look forward to watching him in another Canada wide event.”
The Spruce Kings office is open until Friday from 12 pm to 4 pm daily for last minute gift ideas including ticket vouchers, and select t-shirts. All team hats, jersey’s, hoodies are available at Player’s Bench Prince George, the official merchandise supplier of the Prince George Spruce Kings.
The office will be closed from Saturday, December 22nd to Wednesday January 2nd. It will re-open Thursday January 3rd at 12 pm.
