2023-24 Prince George Spruce Kings leadership group annouced

PRINCE GEORGE- The Prince George Spruce Kings are proud to announce three alternate captains for the 2023-24 season.

Forwards Kilian McGregor-Bennett (03), Luca Primerano (05) and Linden Makow (04) will all wear an “A” for the Spruce Kings this season.

“Kilian, Luca, and Linden are going to be the foundation of a really strong leadership group and a really good group of young men that we trust to represent our program, but more importantly are trusted inside the dressing room,” said Head Coach, Alex Evin. “There are many new faces here. As the team continues to grow, we hope we can add more leaders to this group.”

McGregor-Bennett, the 20-year-old from White Rock, BC, has been with the Spruce Kings since the 2019-20 season. In 117 games, McGregor-Bennett has recorded 57 points.

18-year-old Luca Primerano spent his first full year with the Spruce Kings during the 2022-23 season. In 40 games, he found the net eight times, adding 18 assists.

Finally, Linden Makow from Vanderhoof, BC, has been with the organization since the 2020-21 season. The 19-year-old winger has put up 35 points for the Spruce Kings.

All three players will wear their alternate captain patch on Saturday, September 23, when the Spruce Kings open their 2023-24 regular season against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
