De Jong Makes Prospects Game

The accolades and accomplishments for Ethan de Jong just keep piling up. Just two days after winning gold with Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge in Truro, Nova Scotia, the Canadian Junior Hockey League named de Jong to the Team West roster for the 2018 CJHL Prospects game, January 23rd in Mississauga, Ontario.

De Jong was one of 10 BCHL players named to the squad, as six of his teammates from the WJAC Gold Medal team will be joining him. He had 1 goal and 3 assists in 5 games for Canada West.

This will be the second trip to the Prospects Game for de Jong, as he competed last year in Cornwall, Ontario, as Team West defeated Team East 4-3.

This season, de Jong has 12 goals and 26 assists in 30 games for the Spruce Kings, and will not miss any game action during this event.

The Spruce Kings would like to congratulate Ethan on this accomplishment, and look forward to him representing the organization once more on a National stage.
