PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Spruce Kings have traded D Evan Orr (’01) to the Powell River Kings in exchange for future considerations.
“Evan is a great kid and was a great teammate”, says GM Mike Hawes. “We just couldn’t guarantee him the amount of ice time he will need this season for his development. In those situations, it is better for the player if we move them to a spot that is better fit.”
Orr finished the 2019-20 campaign with 5 goals and 15 assists in 52 games. The Shelby Township, MI product is also committed to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey at Michigan Tech University.
“We wish Evan nothing by success in Powell River”, added Hawes.
