SPRUCE KINGS @ RIVERMEN PREVIEW 09/21/19

The Prince George Spruce Kings have an opportunity to move on from last night’s setback in a hurry as they take on the Langley Rivermen tonight at the George Preston Arena.

The Spruce Kings fell 6-2 to the Chilliwack Chiefs last night, in PG’s first road game of the season. The two goal scorers for Prince George last night was Brett Pfoh who scored glove side on a breakaway in the firs period, and Preston Brodziak who whacked home a rebound on the man advantage.

The Rivermen on the other hand are coming off their first win of the season after laying the boots to the Coquitlam Express by a 6-1 score. Offensively, Langley has been led by Jake Livingstone who has six assists in just four games this year leads the Rivermen and Tristan Fraser was five goals in his first four games as a member of the Rivermen.

The last time these two clubs met was last February when the Spruce Kings won 6-0. Both clubs have a decent amount of turnover from last year, so tonight will be an interesting matchup that gets going at 7:00 tonight.

You can catch all of the action tonight on Hockey TV or on our Mixlr site (mixlr.com/sprucekings). Pre game will start at 7:00, with play by play coming at 7:15.
