SPRUCE KINGS MAKE TWO TRADES

SPRUCE KINGS ACQUIRE WAITE FROM LLOYDMINSTER

The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired defencemen Mason Waite from the Lloydminster Bobcats in exchange for forward Mack Stewart.

The 6’2 190 defenceman finished with 24 points in 55 games last year with Lloydminster where he had five goals and 19 assists.

SPRUCE KINGS ACQUIRE COUSINS FROM COWICHAN VALLEY

The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired forward Kolton Cousins from the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for defenceman Nolan Barrett.

Cousins finished with 11 points in 55 games last season, and also had five points in 12 playoff games last season.

Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes spoke earlier today about the two acquisitions,

“We are excited to add both Mason and Kolton to our program today. Mason is a mobile defenseman with good size who plays in all situations. He is dependable defensively while being able to contribute offensively. Kolton is very hard working forward who will also contribute in both ends while adding a lot of spark to our lineup.”

“We wish both Mack and Nolan much success with their new teams,” says Hawes.

The Spruce Kings next game is scheduled for Friday Night against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs at 7 PM at the RMCA. Tickets are on sale, and you get them at the office or online.
