SPRUCE KINGS MAKE A PAIR OF MOVES

The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired forward Domenic Garozzo from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in exchange for future considerations. Garozzo currently has 10 points in his first 19 games this season.

“We are excited to add Domenic to our group. He is a very skilled player who skates extremely well” says GM Mike Hawes. “My goal with this deal was to increase our skill and speed up front and I’m confident that we’ve done that. Domenic is also a great young man who fill fit in well with our team”.

Garozzo will make his Spruce Kings debut tomorrow afternoon against the Powell River Kings.

The Spruce Kings have also acquired forward Brett Gammer from the Battleford’s North Stars of the SJHL in exchange for Jaxon Steele.

“Brett is a hard working 200 foot player who does well in all areas of the game” says Hawes. “He is a great young man and the type of player that fits in well in our program. We look forward to having Brett join our group.”

Gammer had 24 points in 28 games with the North Stars before coming to the Spruce Kings. Gammer is expected to be in PG on Monday.

The Spruce Kings are back in action tomorrow afternoon against the Powell River Kings. That one is slated for a 3:00 PM puck drop at the RMCA.
