PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings are thrilled to announce the hiring of Craig Carter as the Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Personnel.
“I am very excited to join the Spruce Kings and to help continue an already thriving franchise on and off the ice” says Carter. “I want to thank Mike Hawes and Alex Evin for the support and allowing me this opportunity”.
Carter has served as a scout for the Minnesota Wild and has spent multiple seasons with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
“Craig has many years of Junior Hockey experience and his network of contacts throughout the Hockey world is extensive” says GM Mike Hawes. “I have known Craig for a lot of years and have always valued his ability to assess players. For me, this is the next step in the continuing evolution of the organization. To have a very knowledgeable Hockey person to assist the Hockey operations staff in identifying players, recruiting players, and building our team will help make our program better” says Hawes.
