CHILLIWACK BC – Ethan Bowen’s two goals, and a 26 save shutout by Mathieu Caron was the difference this evening, as the Prince George Spruce Kings drop their second consecutive game by a 3-0 decision against the Chilliwack Chiefs. Connor Milburn, and Ethan Bowen (2) were the two goal scorers in the Chilliwack victory.

CWK: Trevor Longo found Chiefs forward Connor Milburn on a partial break and it was Milburn who ripped it top corner over the shoulder from Aaron Trotter from the right circle to give the Chiefs a 1-0 lead. Millburn’s first in the pod was assisted by Longo at 10:20 of the second frame.

CWK: At 15:57 on a Chiefs power-play, Ethan Bowen wheeled around a Spruce Kings defender with a lot of speed and put it through the wickets of Trotter to give the Chiefs a 2-0 lead. The power-play marker and also Bowen’s 9th of the pod had the lone helper credited to Abram Wiebe.
CWK: With the Spruce Kings net empty, it was again Bowen who ended up getting the puck at the left side and ripped it in the open cage at 19:59 to seal the deal for Chilliwack. Bowen’s second of the game and 10th in the pod was assisted by Kyle Penney and Connor Milburn.
