PRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleased to announce their camp offerings for the 2023 Summer Season. All offerings can be viewed at www.sprucekings.bc.ca/2023camps.
The traditional Spruce Kings Hockey School will kick off on Monday, August 14th with two groups receiving nine on-ice sessions, four off-ice sessions, and a Friday morning game and BBQ. This camp is open to players of all skill levels born between 2011 to 2018. It will run for one week only in 2023, ending Friday, August 18th, with a price of $350 + GST.
The Spruce Kings are happy to announce the return of the Rep Prep Camp for its second season, offering players born from 2009 to 2012 an advanced camp that offers Power Skating, Skill Development, and Battle & Compete drills to prepare for Rep Hockey Tryouts. The camp will run two separate weeks, from August 14-17 and August 21-24 with players on the ice from 3:30-4:45 PM. The cost of the Program is $219 + GST per week.
A new offering will run from August 21-25 as players of all skill levels born between 2011 and 2019 will have the opportunity for five on-ice sessions focusing on developing all skills. One of the groups will consist of Female Players born between 2009 and 2014. The cost of this camp is $175 + GST.
A Northern Futures Camp will take place from Saturday, August 26th to Monday, August 28th for players born in 2008 and 2009. This high-level camp will consist of 5 ice times in a combination of practices and games and will be by Invitation or Application only. Once a player fills out their application form, the Spruce Kings staff will review and inform the player if they are accepted into the camp. The cost of this camp will be $299 (GST included)
