PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings have delayed the start of their 2020 Summer Hockey School, tentatively opening up the first week from August 17th to 21st, and offering the second week of August 24th to 28th.
These tentative dates will be dependent on ice availability, and times and arenas will be announced at a later date.
The Hockey School will be a modified Skill Development program this year, with each group getting 5 hours of on-ice instruction with the Spruce Kings coaching staff, broken down into 1 hour sessions each day. Times will be the same each day, and COVID-19 Safety Protocols will be in place.
These small group sessions offer a 5:1 Student/Teacher ratio, and will focus on skill development in skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting.
