Spruce Kings Acquire Luc Laylin From Lincoln Stars

PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings are excited to announce the acquisition of 20-year-old forward Luc Laylin from the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League (USHL).

“We’re thrilled to be able to acquire a tremendous person and player like Luc. He’s a very talented and hard-working player who will endear himself to our fans from the onset. Any time you have the opportunity to improve your team by adding a dynamic player like Luc you have to take advantage of it. Luc will be a great addition to our already talented group of forwards.” – General Manager Mike Hawes

Laylin, from St Michael, MN, is committed to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey at the University of St. Thomas in the 2022-23 season. In 14 games with the Lincoln Stars, Laylin finished with one goal and three helpers in 14 games played. Prior to joining the Stars, Laylin spent the 2020-21 campaign with the Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), finishing with 22 goals and 16 assists in 48 games played.

The Spruce Kings would like to welcome Luc and his family to the organization and to the City of Prince George!
