Spruce Kings Acquire Bohn In Three Team Trade

PRINCE GEORGE BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired D James Bohn (02) and future considerations from the Surrey Eagles as part of a three-team trade that included the Coquitlam Express. The Eagles will receive D Brody Gagno (02) from the Spruce Kings in return.

Bohn, 19, from Coquitlam BC is in his third BCHL season. The left hand shot defenceman has two goals and five assists in 17 games played with the Express this season. In the 2021 Burnaby Pod, Bohn finished with 10 assists in 20 games played. In his BCHL tenure, Bohn has suited up in 87 BCHL games, and has 22 points in those contests.

“James is a great character kid who plays the game hard and the right way. He will be a good defender for us while also being able to contribute offensively. We’re excited to add him to our back end.” – GM Mike Hawes

The Spruce Kings would like to welcome James and his family to the organization and to the city of Prince George!

The Spruce Kings are back in action on home ice on Wednesday against the Penticton Vees at 7:00 PM. You can get your tickets HERE, or call the Spruce Kings office at 250-564-1747.
