The Prince George Spruce Kings are happy to announce that forward Nick Poisson has committed to Providence College for the 2020/2021 season.
Poisson, from Vancouver, BC played in all 58 games last season for the Spruce Kings, scoring 14 goals and adding 16 assists for 30 points. He would go on to add 4 goals and 5 assists in 17 BCHL playoff games, and registered 1 assist in the Doyle Cup.
In the National Junior A Championship, Nick scored a goal in every game for the Spruce Kings, tallying 6 times.
Poisson will return to Prince George for his second BCHL season in August, before heading to play for the Friars the following season. He is the 13th committed player from last years team.
