Neaton Acquired by Spruce Kings

The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleased to announce the acquisition of goaltender Logan Neaton (99) from the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League in exchange for future considerations.

Logan Neaton is a native of Brighton Michigan and is 6’2” 185 lbs. Last season with the Ice Dogs he posted a 17-4-0-1 record in 24 games played with a 2.00 goals against average and a .906 save percentage.

Prior to last season in Fairbanks Logan played high school hockey in his home town for Brighton High.  He captained his high school team to a State Championship in 2016/2017 while posting a dazzling 1.47 goals against average with a .928 save percentage.

“We are thrilled to add a great person and a great goaltender like Logan to our team. He’s a big goalie who is very athletic and excellent technically.  He’s also a tremendous teammate with terrific leadership abilities. He is a great addition to our program” said Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes.

Logan will join the rest of his Spruce Kings teammates at training camp beginning on Friday August 24th.
