Lakoduk To Join AIC, Makow Joins Full Time Roster

PRINCE GEORGE BC –  The Spruce Kings would like to announce that forward Darwin Lakoduk will join his NCAA school at American International College (AIC) for the remainder of the season. With a roster spot open, the Spruce Kings are excited to announce that forward Linden Makow will now join the Spruce Kings full time roster.

“ We are very happy for Darwin that his opportunity to join AIC has been moved up. Darwin is a tremendous young man and a great player, and this opportunity will enhance his development. I know that the BCHL will get to a point that we will have a season, but Darwin will benefit from the fact that AIC is currently playing games” – GM Mike Hawes

Lakoduk, 20, was acquired by the Spruce Kings this past summer in a deal with the Penticton Vees. Lakoduk finished the 2019-20 BCHL campaign with 11 goals and 12 assists in 58 games played combined with the Vees and the Victoria Grizzlies.

“I want to thank the Spruce Kings and the city of Prince George for everything they did for me in the short time I was there. A special thanks to my billets, coaches, and the players. I am happy to call PG a second home now.” – Darwin Lakoduk

The Spruce Kings would like to thank Darwin for all of his efforts for brief tenure in Prince George and are also excited to bring Linden Makow to the team’s roster.
