PRINCE GEORGE – The luck of the Irish was not with the Prince George Spruce Kings as they took on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in a St. Patrick’s Day battle at the Kopar Memorial Arena on Friday night.

The Spruce Kings battled back from a two-goal deficit to tie the game late in the third period, however, it was the Silverbacks who ultimately prevailed, thanks to a clutch goal in the extra frame.

With this loss, the Spruce Kings’ record now sits at 25-20-5-1, while the Silverbacks’ record improves to 27-17-4-2.
