Hoey Commits to Spruce Kings

The Prince George Spruce Kings have added another piece to next years team, as forward Jack Hoey (98) from Choate Rosemary Hall Academy has committed for 2018/2019.

Hoey, from Fairfield, Connecticut has amassed 33 goals and 68 points in 93 career High School games in the US. He has also attended a pair of USA Camps (U16/U17) and won the Quebec International Pee Wee Tournament with the New York PeeWee Rangers in 2011, scoring once in the final.

A Colgate University commit for 2019/2020, Hoey will look to hone his game with the Spruce Kings as he gets ready for college hockey.

As someone who played for Colgate, Spruce Kings Assistant Coach Alex Evin had a big hand in this recruitment “We are excited for Jack to join us next season. He is a quality person on and off the ice, and will be able to fit in with our fast, transition style of hockey. Jack will continue to be a good leader for the Choate hockey program before he joins us in the fall.”
