GAME PREVIEW: Prince George Spruce Kings @ Wenatchee Wild (Game #25)

Tonight, at the Town Toyota Centre in Wenatchee, the Prince George Spruce Kings wrap up their double header against the Wenatchee Wild in a New Year’s Eve clash at 7:05 PM. The Spruce Kings are coming off a 2-1 shootout defeat against Wenatchee. Jordan Fairlie made 39 saves and was the game’s third star. Ty Gagno had the lone Spruce Kings tally last night.

One of the bright spots up front for the Spruce Kings last night was forward Ty Gagno. The Langley product had the lone Prince George goal which came in the late stages of the third period, which ended up sending the game to extra time and to help the Spruce Kings squeeze out a point. On the 2021-22 season, Gagno sits with four goals and three assists in 23 games played with the Spruce Kings.

 -The Spruce Kings are 4-4-1-1 in their last 10 games

-Prince George is 12/43 (27.9%) on the power-play on the road
