GAME PREVIEW: Prince George Spruce Kings vs. West Kelowna Warriors (Game #28)

Tonight, at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena, the Prince George Spruce Kings play their first home game in over a month, as they kick off a three game home-stand against the West Kelowna Warriors at 7:00 PM. The Spruce Kings are coming off a 5-0 victory over the Cranbrook Bucks at Western Financial Place in Cranbrook. Ty Gagno, Kilian McGregor-Bennett, Rowan Miler, Luc Laylin, and Kolton Cousins all scored for Prince George, while Aaron Trotter secured his first shutout of the season, making 36 saves.

A NEW FACE

The Warriors acquired QMJHL veteran Christophe Farmer at the January 10th Trade Deadline. Farmer has spent the first portion of the 2021-22 season with the Quebec Remparts, netting seven goals and 12 helpers in 29 games played. In his QMJHL career, the Blainville, QC product has played 166 games and has 113 points in those contests.

The Spruce Kings are 7-4-1 on home ice this year and have collected points in their last three home games. The Spruce Kings possess the league’s top power-play when on home ice.
