Cowichan scores early, often to bottle up Spruce Kings

Catch up hockey is often losing hockey.

The Prince George Spruce Kings found that out the hard way on Saturday dropping a 5-2 road decision to the Cowichan Valley Capitals in Duncan.

Paul Selleck led the charge offensively for the Caps with a pair of goals while Oliver Gautheir recorded a three-point effort in the win.

Logan Neaton had a night to forget in goal allowing four goals on 24 Cowichan Valley shots.

Spruce Kings forward Sean Donaldson collected a game-misconduct following a fighting major with Kolten Cousins with eight minutes left in the third period.
