Cousins Commits to Queens

The Prince George Spruce Kings are happy to announce that 2021-2022 Captain Kolton Cousins has committed to Queen’s University

Cousins, from Sechelt, BC in all 54 games last season, scoring 16 goals and adding 14 assists. He added 2 goals and 3 assists in 10 playoff games.

Over his 5-year BCHL Career, Cousins scored 33 goals, and added 28 assists in 189 Regular Season Games. He also played 26 playoff games, totalling 215 Junior A games between Cowichan Valley and Prince George.

Kolton Cousins: “I’ve heard nothing but great things about Queen’s. It’s an honour to have the opportunity to be a part of such a first-class school and hockey program. I’m looking forward to the years ahead and I am excited to further my development as a player, person, and as a student through a program known for its excellent environment and culture. I honestly can’t thank my family, the Spruce Kings organization and everyone who has supported me along the way enough for all their support throughout the years. I’ll always be a proud Spruce King and I can’t wait to see the great things that this organization continues to do. Thank you everyone for your support, I’m really excited to begin this next chapter in Kingston!”
