CNC Alumni Update – October 25th

PRINCE GEORGE BC – It was another fantastic weekend of College Hockey for Spruce Kings Alumni, highlighted by Nick Poisson who netted a hat trick and an assist this past weekend against Denver. The two year Spruce King was also named the Hockey East Player of the Week.

2020-21 Spruce King defenceman Tanner Main scored his first college goal this past weekend. The Bentley University defender took a shot from the point and found its way through traffic and into the back of the net.

2018-19 fan favourite and Bowling Green Universtiy defenceman Max Coyle also scored his first collegiate goal on the weekend. Coyle sprung out of the penalty box and was able to score on a breakaway.

Another Spruce King getting their first collegiate point was two year Spruce King and now forward at Union College Andrew Seaman, who was credited with an assist over the weekend.

The Spruce Kings are back on home ice on Wednesday night as they take on the Penticton Vees at 7:00 PM at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena. Tickets are available HERE. Youth Tickets are just five dollars. If you can’t make it to the rink, you can catch all the action either on BCHL TV or on mixlr.com/sprucekings for free.
