Chong Lee to Play in Euro Ice Hockey Challenge

The Prince George Spruce Kings are excited to announce that 1996 born Chong Hyun Lee has been invited to play for South Korea at the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge in Poland. The other teams participating are Poland, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.

Games begin on December 15th, and conclude on the 17th. Team Korea will play Poland on December 15th, Kazakhstan on the 16th, and conclude on the 17th with a game against Ukraine.

This season with the Spruce Kings, Lee has 10 goals to go along with 11 assists. Lee was an affiliate player last year with Prince George while playing with the Port Moody Panthers of the Pacific Junior Hockey League. Chong Lee left for Poland on December 11th and will be rejoining the team after the Christmas break.

This coming weekend the Spruce Kings have called up Chong Hyun Lee’s younger brother Chong Min Lee (Port Coquitlam,BC) from the Port Moody Panthers, Dawson Rodin (Chilliwack, BC) from the Aldergrove Kodiaks, and Ryan Stack (West Vancouver, BC) from the Burnaby Winter Club to make up for players away from the team, or missing due to injury.
