Brooks takes Game 3

The Brooks Bandits took a 2-1 series lead on Sunday night with a 4-0 win over the Prince George Spruce Kings in the Doyle Cup.

Ray Christy scored the opening goal in the final minute of the first period on the power-play, beating Logan Neaton on the far post after some good puck movement around the zone.

Jakob Lee had a pair of goals before Tyler Campbell scored the fourth to give the Bandits the victory. Brooks outshot Prince George 31-21.

The Bandits went 2/5 on the power play while the Spruce Kings went 0/2.

Game 4 of the series goes Wednesday May 1st back at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena, with Game 5 scheduled for Thursday May 2nd.  There are still tickets available for each game. Spruce Kings office will be open from 12 – 4 pm Monday and Tuesday and 10-4 on Game Days.
